Vesna Vojvodić

Vesna Vojvodić received her first law degree at the University of Belgrade in 1982. She completed two years of articling at the distinguished offices of Filota Fila, Djordje Bela, Toma Fila and Tihomir Konstantinović.  She immigrated to Canada from Yugoslavia in 1993 after eight years of private practice in Belgrade. In Canada, Vesna completed her Master of Arts in Criminology at the University of Toronto in 1996 and received her law degree at the University of Windsor in 2000. She was called to the bar in 2001, and so began her legal journey for the second time. Vesna has been in private practice with an office in Toronto since 2002, serving individuals and small businesses and providing notary public services. Throughout her career Vesna has been writing on legal issues in Yugoslavia and in Canada.


Slavko Ristić

Slavko has been practicing law since 2001. He started his career in New York City where he worked tirelessly as a trial lawyer with countless jury trials under his belt. He remains licenced to practice law in the State Courts of New York and he is also admitted to the Federal Courts of the United States (United States Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York). He has written and argued appeals on subjects ranging from New York State’s threshold law to Wrongful Imprisonment and Constitutional Torts, including arguing matters on civil double jeopardy violations with national implications. While in New York, Slavko was an active member in the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Serbian Bar Association of America, serving as the director of the East Coast Chapter of the Serbian Bar Association.  Now, Slavko is the managing partner of Ristich Law, Injury Lawyers and remains actively engaged in the Serbian community.
